The last week’s debacle saw Zoe Salmon pitted against Emmeradale actor Roxanne Pallet. Roxanne performed a wonderful and brilliant dance routine on ice and was easily the favourite of the judges. Zoe also did equally well but could not quite match up to pallet’s perfect performance and the vote of a single judge helped save her.

Zoe is thrilled that she made it to the next round. Therefore, she plans to use this opportunity well and has planned to do a difficult routine to a catchy number, which is great favourite among any Northern Ireland viewers, especially those lucky enough to be watching the show on a high quality HD LCD screen like the Sony KDL-52W5500. The total number of points secured by Salmon was 23.5 and she found herself in third place on the leader board. She performed a dance routine on skates to Leona Lewis’s hit song Run along with skating partner Matt Evers. The voting of Zoe Salmon out of the Dancing on Ice skate show will see 43-year-old loose Women present Coleen Nolan go into the semi final next week. Coleen gets to move into the semi finals even after being placed in last place after the scores by the judges were announced. Dancing on Ice was again stayed on top in terms of viewership with 9.3 million viewers. Presenter Michael Underwood is there as well and he would really cherish the chance to compete at this year’s event after he had to suffer the agony of sitting out last year because of a damaging ankle he suffered at the start of the show.

The remaining star cast who are ready to display their skills on ice consist of retired Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet, football expert Graeme Le Saux, rugby great Ellery Hanley, TV presenters Jeremy Edwards and Zoe Salmon, investigative reporter Donal MacIntyre, as well as X-Factor loser Ray Quinn.
