The total number of points secured by Salmon was 23.5 and she found herself in third place on the leader board. She performed a dance routine on skates to Leona Lewis’s hit song Run along with skating partner Matt Evers. The voting of Zoe Salmon out of the Dancing on Ice skate show will see 43-year-old loose Women present Coleen Nolan go into the semi final next week. Coleen gets to move into the semi finals even after being placed in last place after the scores by the judges were announced. Dancing on Ice was again stayed on top in terms of viewership with 9.3 million viewers. If you haven’t already, then you really need to get a flatscreen HDTV, like the Sony KDL-40W4500, to truly appreciate Ray Quinn’s dazzling moves, and much anticipated upcoming semi final.

Zoe does not have a wee bit of regret for having been voted out of the show and she concludes that she had a whale of her time on the show. She wants the show’s organizers to work fast on the Dancing on ice tour schedule, as she is very eager to participate in it. She cannot bear to stop dancing or skating on ice, now that she has been working for the show for many weeks. She simply loves it.

Jeremy did not really have to leave the show, but his performance was not up to the mark according to voters who decided to vote him out of the show. Unfortunately he is not a crowd favourite like Ray Quinn. But Jeremy was truthful and admits that he was a bit shaky on ice that particular night but his performance was not very bad but voters he feels decided otherwise. Those watching his performance on the show felt that he started out really well and his moves were very neat and graceful. But towards the finish, it seemed like he had to drag so he could match the music track and every move of his seemed artificial. He gave the impression that he had forgotten his steps and was trying to fill in with other moves. That did him in. Nevertheless, the reality show was certainly a good move for his career. Now, even if the gracious star wears giant Oakley Gascan sunglasses, we are sure he will be instantly recognised and mobbed by adoring fans on the street.

Even after the public telephone vote, the judges simply refused to give her a fresh leash of life in the show. She was thrown out of the show. In Judge Nicky Slater’s opinion, Melinda stole the show with her performance but she was simply not good enough when competing against Jessica. With Melinda officially out of the reality show, the number of competitors has narrowed down to just six.

The competition between Melinda Messenger and Jessica Taylor was one of high drama. While Melinda danced and skated to Let’s hear it For The Boy song lyrics from the film Footloose, Taylor performed for the song Unbreak My heart sung by Toni Braxton. Melinda was not hopeful of a win against Jessica even before the performance. The tie-breaking performance saw Taylor perform a lift that ensured her win.

The only participant to score a perfect score from last week is singer and actor Ray Quinn who with his brilliant performance on ice earned himself a score of 29.5. Ray skated on ice for a song by Bill Hayley & the Comets named Rock Around the Clock. With 9 million viewers for the last episode, and for those lucky enough to watch the performance on  high definition Sony BRAVIA LCD television, it was definitely a show to remember. Despite Quinn’s dominance, his victory is not at all a foregone show and things seem to only get more interesting as it progresses.
