This year’s tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean’s Olympic Gold medal win at the Sarajevo Winter Olympics in 1984 for their Bolero routine. They participated in this tour as well and showcased their expertise of making the most difficult moves look flawlessly simple even after a quarter of century. Their hardwork and dedication has made them the star. They rehearse hours to make sure that their every move falls in perfection. This is the difference between the stars like them and people like Todd Carty who should only be viewed on a good quality HDTV screen, like on the Sony KDL-40Z4500, as long as he is not ice dancing. The last week’s debacle saw Zoe Salmon pitted against Emmeradale actor Roxanne Pallet. Roxanne performed a wonderful and brilliant dance routine on ice and was easily the favourite of the judges. Zoe also did equally well but could not quite match up to pallet’s perfect performance and the vote of a single judge helped save her.

Zoe is thrilled that she made it to the next round. Therefore, she plans to use this opportunity well and has planned to do a difficult routine to a catchy number, which is great favourite among any Northern Ireland viewers, especially those lucky enough to be watching the show on a high quality HD LCD screen like the Sony KDL-52W5500. The road to the finals of the Dancing on ice show has not been a bed of roses for Jessica Taylor. At 28, she has faced many challenges and it has been more pronounced in the skating show. The Liberty X singer has been a great favourite of the controversial judge Jason Gardiner who has been known to make harsh remarks about the performances meted out by various celebrities on the show.

Both Donald and Quinn skated to Bolero, but it was the splendid performance by Quinn, that won the hearts of the viewers. The first celebrity to leave the finals with the least number of votes was singer Jessica Taylor. She wept as she left the skating rink.

Torvill and Daen had performed Ravel’s Bolero at the Olympics in 1984 and had notched up maximum points to win the gold. The routine for the performance started off with both Quinn and his partner on their knees and ended with them lying on the ice just as Torvill and Dean did 25 years ago. Ray Quinn notched up astoundingly perfect scores of 30 for his brilliant performance.

The judges were stunned watching him perform. He floored them with his flying routine. Only days earlier during the practice sessions, he was provided with oxygen as he experienced motion sickness during the flying routine. Ray appeared very happy as he received the winner’s trophy. He added that he had always dreamt of this moment ever since he started on the show.

Ray received the highest bets from bookies to skate away winning the crown. Well-known bookies placed their odds at 1/5 on Ray. Ray Quinn a former Gate acre comprehensive school pupil managed to steal the hearts of the judges the weekend before with some amazing Latin moves on ice that even impressed controversial Judge Jason Gardiner. However, Ray felt everything was in the hands of viewers who have the final say with their votes on his performance. That is why he asked everyone from Liverpool to vote for him as if they were cheering for FC Liverpool in an important match. Practice has been very strenuous this week for the finals with participants rehearsing as many as three routines, but it was worth it as the Finale was fully packed. Not only to Ray Quinn win handily, but he also landed himself the part of Danny in London’s Grease.

Roxanne and her partner left the Dancing on ice show when it was in its eighth week. The former Emmerdale actor has not stopped practicing ever since and she along with Dan is enjoying every moment of their routine. Both of them have been practicing the Bolero on ice, training for the ice tour and practiced a lot for their skate-on routine last Sunday. As usual, the final showcases all the show’s participants back together again on the ice.

Ray Quinn, she feels, has a natural talent for skating, is a born showman, and therefore deserved to win. Jessica has be a great friend to her throughout the show and has been turned out excellent performances while Donald is so full of charisma and drive and he has progressed from day one of the show; but no one can stand in the way of Ray’s spectacular performances.

Viewers watching the show were left gaping with astonishment seeing Ray perform. It was a superb show of confidence as he made his smooth gliding moves on the dance floor. He looked like a born skater oozing with confidence. Nothing has deterred the young man who has even worn bright sparkly costumes for the show.

In the semi final where Coleen Nolan was voted out, Ray wore a clingy red see through shirt that accentuated his toned torso. Ray has been spending time working out with strength training machines like the York Fitness B540 bench, and is now getting the chance to show off the results. He performed a Latino-themed routine along with his skating partner Maria Filippov that left the audience speechless including the likes of Heather Mills. Ray Quinn was at his best when he spinned, jumped and danced in the ice skating ring, showing off his health, vitality and youth when actually he almost did not make it to his first birthday. As a baby he was stricken with the deadly meningitis that almost cost him his life. It made him very vulnerable to bullies who took advantage of his weak health.

Coleen has been performing so admirably on Dancing on Ice ITV1 skating show with her breathtaking moves that she is always getting near perfect scores from the judges and this is making Ray Fensome very proud of his wife. Ray Fensome, 50, sits through her entire skating performance on the sets and cameras do not fail to capture the mixed emotions on his face while she is performing. If anyone was recording the show on their HDD recorder, they will have captured some priceless Ray Fensome moments. His face swells in pride as he watches her skate and tears well up in his eyes. These are tears of happiness, pride, fear and anxiety. Ray is not ashamed to exhibit his emotions in public.

He accepts that he is an emotional man and cannot hide his emotions. Watching his wife perform so incredibly makes him overwhelmed and that causes tears to well up in his eyes. All his friends are chiding him for exposing his emotions but Ray is not bothered by it in the least. Even the kids are teasing him about his emotional behavior. Ray is found sitting at the stands ever week on the Dancing on Ice show watching Colleen skate and viewers find it amusing to see him scream for his wife.

She says that absence does make the heart grow fonder and she has realised how much she is truly missing him. Both make best efforts to keep their relationship interesting so there is never a dull moment and they always make up for lost time. She admits that when Kevin is away on his tours both of them keep in touch with each other through phone or by Skype. She admits he keeps sending her lots of text messages but she cannot reveal it contents.

He is trying to prove he is building his six-pack and muscles. He reiterates that he makes it a point to visit the gym at least five times a week and spends more than half an hour working out. He adds that he spends a lot of time concentrating on his upper body and works on those muscles. That being said, Ray Quinn has still not added that much muscle, maybe he should try out the Weider Pro 5500 Multi gym, or maybe we should give him some more time. Ray Quinn started appearing on reality shows when he was barely eighteen. The Liverpool born Ray starred in ITV’s X factor show where he finished second to Leona Lewis who has made it big ever since her win. Two years ago, he was a young boy with no muscles or biceps to show off to the world. He has matured now and turned from an excitable student to a burly beefcake. He knows that girls prefer men, who are all muscles and that is the reason why he is working on those muscles.

He claims he does not have a large physique but he will work on those muscles in his body so he appears like those models on fashion magazines. He is doing five hours of skate training each day and skating has helped define his muscles.
