As the reality show moved on to its final episode, bookies had placed their bets on Verne Troyer to scoop all the prizes with Ladbrokes offering an odds-on of 2-7. More surprises and shocks unfolded when housemates and the crowd watching the show were left dumbfounded with the announcement made by Davina McCall about his intended departure from the show. Davina McCall the star of Austin Powers Movie who left the show amidst screams by fans asking he be put back.

The crowd opined that there was conspiracy in the exit of Verne Troyer. Perhaps, someone arranged to pay off Verne to exit and win big by betting on Ulrika. This is obviously a stretch, and betting on CBB has never been a good a reliable means to raise enough cash for a new giant LCD like the Samsung LE52A656A 52 incher. Former ex-weather girl Ulrika, the eventual winner, was also stunned at the sudden voluntarily exit of Verne. Davina McCall described Troyer as a star par excellence and that he was the bookies favourite contestant to win the title. Verne Troyer, on the other hand, remarks that though he was left feeling great with all these positive reactions of fans, he did not have any regrets. He was happy that he got to participate in such a great show.

The final five participants of the reality show were asked plenty of questions at their press conference. While Verne was quizzed about his Baby-kissing incident, he seemed unperturbed as he replied that he did not care about anything. Michelle, another star when asked about her relationship with her boyfriend and how the relationship was faring, replied that they were both fine and were having a fantastic time together. La Toya another star of the Channel 4 reality show who made it to the finale episode was questioned about her being two-faced. She replied that she was being perceptive and there was nothing wrong about that.

Verne was asked by an attractive woman journalist if he would do another sex tape and he quipped back asking if she was free to do it along with him.

Though the plan was kept a secret by the bosses, Ulrika Jonsson caught a whiff of the rumour and informed the Channel 4 producers of her decision. She told them that she will not be doing the show if her old enemy was still in it.

According to Phil Edgar Jones, the creative director of Big Brother, this year they faced quite a bit of trouble with at least a couple of celebrities saying they will perform in the show only if certain people were eliminated.

There were plans to bring in Nancy, Ulrika and Sven. Back in the year 2002, Sven, the former chief of England cheated on Ulrika with Nancy. Bosses now were trying to bring them together to sky rocket their ratings understandably putting other contestants at a disadvantage, much to their displeasure.

According to a comment from an insider to the Daily Star Newspaper of Britain, if they had managed to pool in all three of them, ratings would have touched unimaginable heights. However, as we know only Ulrika made it in, and ratings for the show suffered. Although Ulrika is definitely happy as she unexpectedly won without even having to put up with her cheating ex and her ex’s girlfriend. So it looks like the only way we might be able to relive the drama between Sven, Nancy and Ulrika is if they somehow get added as characters in the next edition of Celebrity Deathmatch, whenever that may be. Because as it stands, it is still uncertain whether Celebrity Big Brother will see another season next year.

However, despite the allegations and counter allegations the people behind the reality series, Channel 4 are really ecstatic at Ulrika’s victory. The promoters are under the impression that the drama and storm that followed Verne Troyer’s dismal forth place is good for the promotion and publicity of the series, and they firmly believe that script couldn’t have been better prepared.

A source close to Celebrity Big Brother reveals that it is always helpful to have a shock every now and then. Moreover, he added that it is always interesting when there is uncertainty surrounding the winner, unlike last year when the series was pretty much predictable. People are attracted towards things that take them unawares, and if the show can keep them constantly on the tenterhooks it would have done a great job. Of course, bookies cannot be too pleased with the unexpected results, but at least anyone who had the foresight to bet on long-shot Ulrika can now buy themselves a new deluxe 70 inch Samsung LE-70F96BD LCD TV. The enthusiasm shown by the producers however doesn’t reflect the fact the series is losing steam and popularity among the viewers and it can be seen as a last ditch effort by them to save face. A recent survey has revealed that a total of 3.8 million viewers watched the final lag of the series this year, which is a poor comparison to last year’s 5.8 million when Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty won the competition.

The event has been organized with a lot of interesting challenges out of which four of them are major ones. La Toya and Ben will act as cowboys. They will entertain everyone by riding on the bucking bronco. An interesting challenge of baseball will be met by Tommy. Ulrika and Terry will entertain by indulging in a pie eating competition. This will be one competition which will provide a lot of entertainment and fun. There will be an exciting road trip on the bike on Route66 by Verne and Coolio. It will be absolutely thrilling and entertaining to see all these challenges met in spite of all the arguments and fights that are bound to take place.

The pie eating contest was carried out with a whole lot of fun and fare. Both Ulrika Jonsson and Terry Christian were very sportive and provided quite a few laughs with their face smudged with pies. They were teased and egged on by the other inmates and the whole even was cheerful and enjoyed by everyone. So there!

Your experience at the Big Brother house, we hope was a pleasant one. The result is also thrown out of the window all the calculations that the bookies have carried out claiming a male winner, especially Verne the diminutive maverick. We were made to believe that the completion is all but over, and that Verne will win hands down. And yes, going by the public perception Verne appeared to be the popular winner, but then a twist to the tale occurred when Ulrika surprised everybody, including herself, by having the last laugh.

Despite being in the top three almost throughout the completion, the victory is a sweet one for the mother of four, as she managed to shake off all the bitching, the homesickness, and of course Coolio. She also had to go some testing moments when fellow mum Mutya Buena walked out of the competition, and kept fighting refusing to throw the towel what come.

The biggest surprise however is, Verne Troyer, Mini-Me in Austin Powers, who was widely tipped to win the event came a lowly fourth.

Hearing the news that she has won the competition, Ulrika began to cry in disbelief, and said that it is the weirdest experience in her famously weird life. She also admitted she only entered the show for the money, and now, as the winner, she will clearly be able to buy a Sony Playstation 3 for her kids, perhaps a new flat screen LCD TV for her husband, and of course another luxury car for herself. Did we mention that she got an astonishing 57 per cent of the vote!

They each had to complete eating their pie in just half an hour without of course using their hands. This interesting contest was set off with an announcement by the Big Brother. Both Ulrika Jonsson and Terry went head long with their faces diving into the pie and the other inmates had a good time making fun of them. They spent their time joking about their situation.

Ben, one of the inmates said no carbs; after six, you are not supposed to eat.The interesting challenge was the highlight as one of the inmates; the rapper Coolio went on continuously chatting about it. Terry retaliated in fun asking him if he has to go to Sturges to keep up his appointment or if he has nowhere to go driving.

Ulrika added that you take your bike and go. There was pie smudged on her face. Ben commented that they do not usually have food eating contests even as Ulrika and Terry continued eating their pie with the US flag as the backdrop.

Both Ulrika and Terry joked that they did not think the crowd was very supportive. Ulrika started the contest with the hope that the sweetness of the filling of fruit will be taken away by the thick pastry. Still, she will probably have to work out on an exercise bike, like the Reebok 3 series, to get rid of all those carbs Ben was talking about. Terry prompted Ulrika and encouraged her even as he complained that he was going to have indigestion because of the pastry. He also called the other men a bunch of women.

Michelle called the singer a little cow, and said that she couldn’t still believe that the singer has finally gone away from her life, and for the better.

When asked to comment on the reasons for her being evicted ahead of Ulrika, she was quite forthright in saying that maybe she was more annoying. To this the crowd present at the conference voiced their disagreement prompting her to question the crowd then what led them to vote against her on their mobile phones. Meanwhile, she claimed that Ulrika doesn’t mind being voted out from the show and that she is ready to accept Terry as the winner of the show. She also said that she terribly loved Terry Christian, and that he was to smart for her to understand what he was up to most of the time. ‘He is just too clever for me’, she said.

She though doesn’t have the same feeling towards the rapper Coolio, who according to her is playing an unfair game to win the competition, and at times even intimidating other contestants.

Baring her soul while speaking to Jack Whitehall on Big Brother’s Big Mouth, Tina sarcastically claimed that she will dearly miss the interaction with Coolio, and that she is planning to wear a mask of the contestant around her neck so that she is constantly reminded of the great vibes they shared at the Celebrity Big Brother house.

That Coolio is her villain number one and whom she despises the most is anybody’s guess, and she also made it amply clear when she said Coolio is the most irritant inmate she could have ever conceived and in addition he has a personality of a cod! Coolio is a rapper who is much more controversial than the cute Parappa the Rapper, and who has been stirring up conflict since he arrived at the house. However, Malone also was brave enough to admit that people like herself and Coolio don’t deserve and stand a chance to win the title, which according to her belongs to nice people.

She also put to rest speculations surrounding a budding romance between Big Brother contestants Ben Adams and Michelle Heaton. She described Ben as a narcissist who is always too obsessed with himself to stray after women like Michelle. According to her he’s is a bit of an eye candy then anything else.

Moreover, she also said that Michelle Heaton is devoted to her man, and would not like to commit the mistake of getting cosy with another man and put a relationship built on trust into jeopardy. Tina also revealed that Michelle is not the type who loves to play around, and that she is out an out a one-man women.

The participants of this year’s event, who include television presenter Ulrika Jonsson and diminutive Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer, have been advised to watch the last series of the reality show so that they can have a better idea of things to avoid when they are residing in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Moreover, it is also expected to help them to behave in a proper manner with the other contestants, most of whom belong to different backgrounds, communities and have different upbringings.

Miss Goody, for her part, had the audacity to call her co-star Shilpa Shetty “Shilpa Poppadom”, apart from hurling many third degree comments that led to wide protests all over, especially in India where her effigy was burnt in many places of the country. The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown also strongly condemned the incident and described that the comments were totally uncalled for. That’s not all as protests reached a feverish pitch and the situation quickly spiralled out of control prompting the Channel 4 bosses to render a quick apology and disown Miss Goody from the show.

Miss Goody particularly turned out to be the villain number one of the country, with many names hurled at her leaving her totally traumatized. Though she asked for an unconditional apology to the Indian people and Shilpa Shetty, in particular, the incident has left an impregnable impact and highlighted the deep rooted racial discrimination that still exists in the country.
