With the reality show Celebrity Big Brother making a comeback to the fold after spending a year in the wilderness, the discussion now has veered to how much money the contestants are making. Last year’s controversial race row seems to have done enough damage to the popularity and credibility of the reality show Celebrity Big Brother, to have made the show organisers send prior warnings to the contestants to avoid indulging in something as degrading and destructive as the racism row. Celebrity Big Brother is all set to have the temperamental Scottish socialist Tommy Sheridan this Friday, according to reports emanating from Channel four. The presence of the controversial politician in the Celebrity Big Brother house is, however, looked upon with curiosity and uncertainty, as the game show has proven time and again that audiences of the popular show have little sympathy or desire for politicians or people in current affairs.
