Melinda Messenger’s marriage was almost fizzling out. She and her Welsh husband were finding it difficult to make their marriage work. Their nine-year-old marriage came to a stumbling block when Wayne, 31, moved out of their home, leaving the sexy 37-year-old skater heartbroken. She had virtually given up on any reconciliation when after an eight-month long separation; her Welsh husband came back home. The Dancing on Ice star thinks her performance in the show has brought her Swansea born husband and her together. They are residing happily at their Berkshire home.
Melinda shudders as she remembers how close they were to ending their long relationship. She recollects their happy moments when they took their marriage vows in her dream wedding at Bali in the presence of 30 guests. Those were great times and the couple had so many happy memories until things began to turn sour after a couple of years. It finally ended when Wayne decided that he had to move out and Melinda was heartbroken. Between the two, they have three beautiful kids Morgan aged eight, Flynn aged six and Evie aged five. Ever since Melinda began appearing on the Dancing on Ice show, Wayne has been watching her perform on the show. He would turn up at the studio to just watch her.
The past year has been very stressful for her, as she could not bring herself to concentrate on anything as her marriage was failing. Now, that Wayne is back things have brightened up for her. She feels completely relieved that everything is back in order and the couple recently celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.
